Sunrise Catcher (นักล่าแสงแรก) 2024- 2025

‘Sunrise Catcher’ is an artist’s visual diary on travelling across geographical, cultural, financial boundaries in finding ways to expand her own horizons. During the adventure surrounded by obstructions and opportunities, she tries to maintain balance and inner peace. She questions if one could catch the true sunrise each morning, then one would be profoundly at ease.

#SAVECHANA 2020- 2025

Along with other artists, medias and activists, Tamruja runs #SaveChana aiming to protect environmental and cultural resources. The 3 paintings represent people of 3 generations who have been actively protecting their homes and environment since 1980s. The birds represent each generation, in the first paining, one bird flies over the ocean wave, not knowing the prolong battle has begun. The second painting, as the fights between the local activists and the government worsens, despite peaceful protest, the police brutally attack them causing physical and mental damage to the community. One man was stabbed until his skull is fractured. His mother and the community have been trying to demand justice, but for almost 2 decades, there has only been silence. The third painting, the 3 birds fly over the sunrise, the activists continue to protest peacefully in hope of the brighter future.

Content without Light 2019- 2023

'Content without Light' is an art exhibition that invites you to explore the soft light of small planets that gravitate around the sun. They represent people who work tirelessly behind the scenes, under the shadow of others' success. In the sky filled with shining stars, tiny planets and common citizens are the kind of beauty that complete the universe. As if they are questioning whether those behind the scenes should be respected, or treated as equally as other professions.
Parts of 'Content without Light' was also exhibited at ARTSTER Vol. 2, Seacon Square, Bangkok with other 40 artists.
